After teasing the Futurecraft loop and giving the Futurecraft 4D a broader release, the three stripes is now adding another sneaker to its future-focused line with the brand new adidas Futurecraft STRUNG. Taking running shoes to an entirely new dimension, the German gigantic are yet again pushing the boundaries of technology, and to say that we’re beyond ecstatic is an understatement in itself.
While textiles sneakers are certainly nothing new with the Ultra improve leading the charge, the STRUNG does it in a completely different way. Unlike the Primeknit uppers that are manufactured in massive quantities, this brand new advancement utilises highly-advanced robots that craft the upper where high-wear areas and breathability are a lot of needed.
The single-lay weave is constructed of over 1,000 threads and perfectly lines with the contours of the foot. This is amazing when you take into account that current knit shoes can only do so horizontally and vertically.

This also comes together to crease an insanely fast shoe. On top of that, the midsole is made from the all-too-familiar adidas 4D technology that’s been making rounds considering that 2017. creating using a process called digital Light Synthesis, or DLS for short, the complex lattice supplies wearers with the optimum amount of comfort and cushioning with every step. with that said, you’ll notice that the outsole has been completely removed as the STRUNG has been specially engineered to cut weight by applying traction in just the needed areas.
If you’re feeling the adidas Futurecraft STRUNG regrettably you’re going to have to wait a little longer, as this won’t be available to the public until the end of 2021 or the start of 2022. let us know what you think of this shoe, and in related news, the adidas Ultra 4D “Triple Black” has been unveiled!
